Terms of Service

The client shall be responsible for the fuel that the vehicle shall consume during the period of hire.

Fuel must be at the same level when the vehicle is returned to GNCarHire.

In case of mechanical breakdown, theft of the vehicle, or an accident, the renter should immediately notify GNCarHire.

All damages to the exterior and interior of the tires and rims shall be the responsibility of the renter to repair and restore the vehicle to its original state.

The vehicle will not be used to push any other vehicle or trailer, or for racing, speed tests, or contests.

In the event of a road accident or theft, a full police report and the full details of the other party must be obtained at the scene, as this is necessary for insurance claims.

Unless a second driver is listed on the car hire agreement, only the individual who signed the car hire agreement is authorized to drive the vehicle. An extra driver fee is levied to cover the renter’s liability.

The client is not authorized to have repairs done or make changes to the vehicle or its accessories, or to put the vehicle up as any kind of security, without the prior consent of GNCarHire.

The vehicle may not be used in violation of any customs law or any other illegal manner.

In the event of an accident and the renter is found to be on the wrong side of the law, the renter is liable to pay a non-refundable minimum accidental fee of US$1,500 (one thousand five hundred dollars).

The client is liable for all parking meter charges, tolls, and fines for breaking traffic laws.

The client is not authorized to use the vehicle to transport passengers for payment, loan it to others, or sublease it.

It is the responsibility of the client to return the car clean. Failure to do so would attract a fee of $10 to be taken from the deposit.

The rented vehicle must not be used to carry building materials or weight in excess of the stipulated capacity.
